Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) Standards for BUMP

BUMP is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and secure digital environment for all users, especially minors. We strictly prohibit any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and have established the following standards to guide our community and protect vulnerable users.

  1. Zero Tolerance Policy

BUMP maintains a zero-tolerance policy for CSAE. Any content, behavior, or activity that involves or suggests CSAE will result in immediate account suspension, content removal, and reporting to relevant authorities.

  1. Prohibited Content and Behavior

The following are strictly prohibited on BUMP:

  • Sharing, distributing, or promoting any form of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

  • Grooming or attempting to establish inappropriate relationships with minors.

  • Sharing sexually explicit content involving minors or any content that sexualizes children.

  • Use of language, images, or behaviors that promote, normalize, or trivialize CSAE.

  1. Mandatory Reporting

We are committed to promptly reporting any CSAE incidents or content to relevant law enforcement and child protection agencies as required by law.

  1. Prevention Measures

  • User Verification: We may implement age verification tools to prevent minors from accessing age-inappropriate content.

  • Parental Controls: Tools will be available for parents to monitor and manage their child's activity on the app.

  • AI and Human Moderation: A combination of AI technology and trained human moderators will proactively detect and remove harmful content.

  1. Education and Awareness

  • User Guidelines: Clear user guidelines and educational resources on recognizing and reporting CSAE will be made available.

  • Training: Staff and moderators will receive ongoing training on CSAE identification and response.

  1. Reporting and Support

  • In-App Reporting Tools: Users can report suspected CSAE directly through the app using a simple reporting feature.

  • Support Resources: Links to professional support services for survivors and concerned users will be readily available.

  1. Collaboration

We work closely with child protection organizations, law enforcement, and industry bodies to strengthen our CSAE response.

  1. Accountability

  • Regular Audits: Periodic audits will ensure compliance with CSAE standards.

  • Transparency Reports: We will publish transparency reports detailing our CSAE prevention efforts and outcomes.

Violations of these standards will result in:
